Area51 Project Foreman - 2022 Adventures Update
February 12, 2022 no snow, no ice trouting with Dad. Winter 2022 has been pretty dismal if you like winter outdoor activities. Its been unseasonably warm, we've had some snow only for it to be washed away days later by torrential rains! With the skidoo parked, and the Argo tracked up and no place to go, I loaded Project Foreman aboard the truck and headed towards Whitbourne for a day in the woods with Dad.
June 4, 2022 Putting Project Foreman to work at the St. John's Rod and Gun Club. Today was cleanup day, a very important and busy day all across the club making repairs and renovations for the upcoming busy summer season. The club ATV would be in hot demand so I brought Project Foreman to help complete some tasks on my list.
July 16, 2022 Torbay ATV quick rip. Nothing fancy, just a quick summer cruise leaving from the house.
August 11, 2022 Southern Shore Trail-way exploring. This year a new ATV friendly trail opened up connecting up Horesechops, Cape Broyle and Ferryland, with plans to open even more trail by the fall.
Both the Project 6x6 and Project Foreman are prepped, cleaned and ready for the Fall 2022 Moose Hunting Season!
October 14, 2022 Hunting with the French's. Project 6x6 served me well on my early season moose hunting trips and the eventual successful filling of my Moose License on the second Saturday of the season. In October I chose to take Project Foreman to help Mark & Matthew fill their tags. I headed down early to scout and explore the recently opened addition to the Southern Shore Trail-way which now takes you down towards Renews.
Next up was a quick inspection on Project Foreman before my last minute trip to Glenwood. The big item I wanted to check was the clutch adjustment. For easy access on a Foreman it's best to remove the left foot well and inner front fender. The adjuster was seized with mud & dirt, but an overnight soaking with red Rustcheck spray freed it up.
A quick test ride around the backyard ensured it was adjusted and working properly for the trip.
November 16-20, 2022 Last minute ATV trip to Glenwood with Pete, Johnny and Bassan.
December 29, 2022 Last day of Moose Hunting with the French's for the 2022 moose hunting season. Absolutely beautiful day in the woods and a great attempt with Mark & Andrew French to fill their tags before the season ends in a couple days time. Cheers, MIKE
