This past weekend brought the opening day for Partridge Hunting here on the Avalon Peninsula. Bassan and his father Peter hit the barrens near Witless Bay Line Sunday afternoon under beautiful sunny skies and cool temperature.

The boys found a nice few covey's of birds and took three for the pot! All in all not a bad afternoon on the barrens.
