Lunch at the Round Island Food Market with some of the local wildlife.

By suppertime Tash and Sandra joined Cory and the kids on the stomach sick down-n-out list so I was on my own for supper at the Main Buffet.

After supper I did a little night time tour of the resort before heading to the lobby bar for a bit.

The next morning Cory was fairly well mended so we had a 'byes day with breakfast followed by a morning at the pool.

I was pretty epic to be 4000km away from my game cameras and still get live notifications of Moose in the area as soon as I connected to WIFI at the resort! It's pretty easy to take for granted all the technologies involved to make that happen in these modern times.

Today the resort opened a special outdoor lunch buffet near the main pool which featured salad, rice, all kinds of delicious seafood and BBQ'd on site over coals, Jerk Chicken.

After lunch Cory headed back to check on Tash and the kids so I did a daytime tour of another area of the resort where they usually host weddings and stuff.

The luxury side has many unique amenities but the grand side has the best beach by far.

That evening we were all supposed to go to our ala carte restaurant booking at the knife steakhouse. Tash, Sandra and the kids were still not 100% so we rebooked dinner for two, date night for Cory and I! LoL

I had steak and Cory tried the beef brisket, both were outstanding and very well done. I had a Caesar salad to start and we both chose cheesecake for desert which again were amazing.

The following day everyone was finally feeling better so we spent another day at the pool.

I headed back to the room mid afternoon just as it started to pour, stopping of course for a beer or four along the way!

The last full day of our trip started out at the Round Island Food Market buffet for breakfast.

Then we headed to the Grand side beach for a relaxing day in the super warm and very relaxing salt water, definitely by far my favourite activity at this resort.

Midday the lobster shack arrived and began grilling up fresh lobster over charcoal on their very improvised raft!

The grill looks to be fabbed from an old rusted out 100L propane cylinder!

That evening we stopped at the lobby bar on our way to our final ala carte booking at the Mikado which is a hibachi style Japanese themed restaurant.

Monday morning we were on the bus for our ride back to the airport in Montego Bay.

Arrived home around 3am to a very happy pair of cats!

Few goodies we brought home. Despite sickness taking down everyone in our crew with the exception of myself, we still had a great time. Some excursion plans didn't pan out and our ala carte's got messed up all due to everyone being sick, but we all had a great and very relaxing vacation.
