February 12, 2015 Blizzard Warning: (7 Photos)

 

7.   Once again its been a slow start to winter here on the East Coast with little or no snow in December and January. Now almost halfway through February we are finally under our first Blizzard Warning of the season.

 

 

 

6.   Over 40 cm of wind driven snow fell yesterday and today, strong South Easterly winds certainly socked us in pretty good!

2.   The only downside to our new property is the below ground basement door which has to be shovelled out by hand.

 

 

1.  Thankfully our trusty Honda 9/28 Snowblower continues to work great and made snow removal a breeze. After clearing the driveway on the first day, strong winds persisted overnight and into following day completely filling the driveway in just as bad as yesterday!
