9.   The long term forecast in Newfoundland is anything but reliable, but the weatherman had been forecasting calm skies on Saturday morning for a few days now.

8.   Sure enough, as we helped prepare French's boat late Friday evening, the forecast updated calling for less then 5 k/mh winds the following morning.

7.   With the boat gassed up, guns & shells aboard, Mark, Matthew and Sooley headed out on Conception Bay leaving from St. Phillips early Saturday morning to hunt a few Turrs.

1.   The guys had a great day on the water covering over 150 kilometres, burning a full tank of gas, and picking up 10 birds! All in all a very successful hunt!
