January 29, 2012 Goulds Sled Rip: (10 Photos)
10. It's now the end of January and we still do not have very much snow. By now most of the crew have had their sleds ready for awhile, so we took advantage of a beautiful sunny Sunday and headed to the Goulds for a quick, rock/stump free ride. Project Renegade is still alive and running well, this year I installed a fresh new windshield, battery, and thumb warmer switch.
9. Sooley will be riding his favourite sled to date, his 2009 Renegade 800r, Bill his freshly decaled out 2010 Yamaha Nytro X-TX;
8. Todd will pilot (carefully I'm sure) his recently repaired 2010 REV XRS having replaced a lower control arm after last weeks ride;
7. Brining up the tail were French on his 2009 Yamaha Nytro XTX, and little brother Justin French who just picked up his own 2009 Nytro XTX joining us for his first ride.

5. Just as we were about to leave, Long showed up with his wicked Track Equipped 2010 Grizzly 700.

2. We didn't go all to far today as snow cover wasn't great. The roads were generally in reasonable shape occasionally clicking ski carbides off stones, the fields were covered, and there was some deeper snow around of the sides of some fields.
1. Luckily the bogs were frozen well so we managed to cruise over to Northern Pond Road for a look. All in all we logged a solid 80 kilometres, cured the first ride itch, didn't break anything, and had an awesome day.
Cheers, MIKE
