I purchased this chamfer bit on eBay on a whim as it looked like a very convenient tool to have in stock.
It's designed to be a fast accurate way to chamfer the end of a freshly cut off bolt or threaded rod. Or round rod for that matter.
It's safe to say that its a simple tool that works very well would recommend.
