This model of the Streamlight ProTac HL USB is the 1000 lumen version, it's compact and very bright!

This 1000 lumen beast has a beam distance of 219m and still has lots of spill so it illuminates a wide area or room very well.

As the name implies, it's USB rechargeable by sliding back a collar near the head of the flashlight. There is a LED charging indicator that illuminates Red when connected to a charging source and turns green when charging is complete.

This flashlight has a 10 tap programmable rear switch so you can make the switch perform in three different ways. 1) high/strobe/low 2) high only 3) low/medium/high.

I've had this flashlight for awhile now and use it regularly. I'm very impressed by the performance vs size and the USB charging capability has been extremely convenient! Easy 5-stars.
