I picked up this dandy moose caller in the Summer of 2023 at Outdoor Pros, I put it straight to work on the opening day of Moose Hunting later that year. The Cocall 2X is the second generation of this product featuring higher quality sound, volume and battery life over its predecessors. It's an all in one caller in that it's operated by an LCD control panel at the rear of the cone, an optional wireless remote control is sold separately.

The unit has a built in Lithium battery which is recharged through the micro USB port and comes pre-loaded with 10 popular calls. So far we had a cow come out for Bassan opening day 2023, the following season the boys borrowed it and successfully called out a young bull for Roger opening day 2024.

In the past I've used and had moderate success with some moose calls on my FoxPro Spitfire (primarily loaded for Coyote Hunting) and a free app on my Smartphone. I wanted a quality unit dedicated for Moose Hunting pre loaded with quality sounds. The Cocall 2X is exactly that and it certainly works well. It's lightweight, has great battery life, is very easy to use and will definitely remain a top priority piece of kit for all future moose hunts!
