I've actually had this terrific portable coffee press for quite awhile now, every time I've used it I forgot to take some pics! That finally came to and end this year on my Indian Bay snowmobile trip in March 2023.

The GSI Commuter Java Press is a fantastic French Coffee Press where the plunger becomes your all in one mug! At 15 fl/oz it's the perfect size for an individual serving, it's made of a durable plastic so it's been a very stout unit.

You put ground coffee in the bottom, add hot water, stir, let rest then slowly press the plunger housing down. Add milk/cream/sugar, screw on the lid and you can drink right from the press!

The rubber base keeps it steady and an insulated sheath keeps your beverage hot and hands warm.

It's a simple yet quite effective piece of kit for the backwoods coffee drinker, especially handy when a lot of the crew prefers tea!

The commuter press has been with me on many outdoor adventures, it's a simple yet well thought out design that is easy to use, clean and travel with.
