In the summer of 1999 I moved out of our central station office (night) job and started working out in the field with our family business, so I needed/wanted something larger for carrying tools, ladders etc, than my S15 Jimmy could handle. This 2000 Sierra was a demo unit from Terra Nova Motors, an extended cab, 6.5' box with the Z71 off-road package. The off-road package added limited slip rear end, skid plates, Bilstein shocks and tow hooks. When I got the truck I had a remote starter installed, as well as a bed liner and fibreglass tonneau cover.

Later I had the front windows tinted, installed my Hella 500 Driving lights, and bolted up an awesome Edelbrock Cat Back Exhaust. This exhaust sounded really nice, not too loud, but nice and deep. After owning this truck for just under two years I was accepted to trade school (2 years earlier then expected) so I sold it and picked up a used 2000 Pontiac Grand Am in July 2001. The car was better on gas but also much cheaper on the monthly payments!

Cheers, MIKE
