Shed-Headz How To:

Fix Sticky Fuel Gauge Skidoo REV

    November 28, 2012

Another common inconvenience on the REV chassis Skidoo's is the sticky mechanical fuel gauge. The problem is fairly easy to solve if your handy and have some basic tools. First remove the Windshield, Gauges & Console, then remove the fuel gauge. Its a press fit through the rubber grommet.

Slide the float all the way up and pop out the flat middle bar that operates the needle of the gauge.

Trim the skinny end approximately 1/4". Next using a file, angle the shoulders where the wide part of the bar becomes skinny, this will help keep the gauge from binding.

Slip the flat bar back into the gauge and reinstall the assembly in the sled.
