Newfoundland Grillers Smokers & Boil-Ups Guild Iris's One Pot Goulash
This recipe is very convenient particularly at camp as it requires a minimum of equipment. Start by browning the ground meat & diced onion, drain excess grease when cooked.
Next add the water, soup mix, entire contents of the tin of diced tomatoes, tomato paste and the can of tomato soup with the water the soup calls for and bring to a boil. Now add the macaroni, simmer covered over medium heat stirring regularly until macaroni tender (20-30 minutes).
When plated you can garnish with parmesan or mozzarella cheese, hot sauce etc. On this trip to Slaney's Camp we forgot the tomato paste so the sauce didn't stick to the pasta quite as well as normal but it still tasted great!
