For the Lomond trip everyone is responsible for one evening meal. Most of these are pre-prepped to an extent so we have more time on the water. This year I decided to make my Brisket Shepherds Pie and would take the remaining leftover slices of Brisket for everyone to enjoy.

We arrived mid afternoon Monday, and after unpacking we geared up and immediately hit the river.

Having landed a 2nd Salmon, Bassan headed back to the cabin early to prepare supper, which consisted of bruschetta and his famous pasta with homemade sauce using his grandmothers recipe.

Supper the following evening consisted of my brisket shepherds pie, accompanied by some slices of brisket, and was preceded by a fresh salad with vinaigrette dressing.

My meal was a hit so I'll see if I can up my game again next year!

Supper on Thursday consisted of Johnny's Fish stew and mustard pickles which is always a hit!

All in all another great trip and we never starved to death!
