Area 51 Location - Randy & Iris's Garage:

Dad and Iris began building a new detached garage this year, In June 2018 Maffer, Bassan and I headed out and helped Dad and his good buddy John Adams install roof trusses for the hip style roof.

Next up was eave boards which will add even more strength to the roof system.

Dad's made pretty good progress on the garage with the roof complete & shingled, 1" foam installed outside, and all the windows, door & overhead doors installed. Today we tackled installing the piping for water, electrical & low voltage electrical. A contractor came in and dug the ditches, Dad and I fitted & installed the PVC pipe.

Next up was the electrical rough in.

Final connections for low voltage systems including Alarm, Network and Telephone.

2021: The new garage continues to be a centre of social gatherings and working on projects, sometimes his own and often projects of friends & family.
