Bike Sold 2022

In the fall of 2015 Dad was on a cross island ATV trip, the boys hopped on the Marine Atlantic Ferry in Argentia, then the next boat back to Port Aux Basques. This was his second such trip riding his G1 2004 Outlander 400, however just outside Stephenville the engine started knocking so he headed for the local BRP dealership. They diagnosed a failed engine and Dad ended up picking up this beautiful brand new fully loaded 2015 Can Am Outlander 650 in pearl white.

The new bike was a big step up in every way, more power, great sound, outstanding comfort and most of all reliability.

In 2017 I installed a 10" LED light bar to help better illuminate those late night homeward bound trails.

Dad ran the stock 26" tall tires for a year or so before upgrading to a set of 27" Mud Lite XTR radials, the same tires I run on Project Foreman. When those wore out he found a great deal on these Maxxis Zillas also in 27" diameter.

A few years later he picked up a Can Am Alpine Flex Plow to assist the Snowblower in driveway clearing duties, it was especially helpful for light snowfalls and clean-up.

Moose hunting in Trepassey with the Bassan's Fall 2017.

Bay Roberts ATV ride and boil-up with Dad Fall 2021

In the summer of 2021 Dad picked up a used but low mile fully optioned out 2016 Can Am Commander side by side. He really enjoyed the new machine finding it a lot easier to get in & out of compared to the bike. The following summer he sold the Outlander and has been logging lots of miles on the Commander ever since!

Cheers, Mike
