September 2, 2005 Tors Cove Labor Day: (39 Photos)
39. Once again Labour Day Weekend was spent at Maffer and Chrissy's Cabin in Tors Cove, as usual it was a heck of a good time.
38. Maffer, Sooley, Bill, Adam, French and I arrived Friday afternoon, got everything unloaded and were ready for the weekend. French and I were the only ones sporting bikes this trip. French just upgraded the stock tires on his Honda Foreman to 26" Mudzillas, while I piloted Project Foreman for the weekend.
37. That night we had a fire in the pit on back of the cabin and some of us enjoyed a few beverages.

29. Late in the evening, in the pouring rain we made a midnight run out the road to investigate lights and sirens of fire trucks. A cabin further back the road was totally engulfed in flames! It was a total loss but fortunately no one was injured. Thanks to Adam for being our Designated Driver!
28. Of course we were well and truly soaked by the time we got back to the cabin.
27. Saturday morning arrived and found French hard at work in the newly renovated kitchen cooking breakfast for the crew.

25. Saturday was spent riding ATV's, trouting, and generally having a time.

23. At one point Maffer took my bike for a rip in the nearby bog hole and managed to flip it over completely submersing himself in the murky mess and loosing his glasses!

21. He looked like a cave man when he came out but was otherwise unscathed!

19. Unfortunately the snorkel on Project Foreman went under water which in turn contaminated the engine oil. I parked the bike for the rest of the weekend and underwent repairs at home.
