July 2, 2005 Sooley Cabin Overnighter: (6 Photos)

6.   Canada Day fell on a Friday this year which meant we could enjoy a nice long weekend to celebrate our country's birthday.

5.   Most of the crew headed out to the Sooley family cabin near Whitbourne to get Mr. Sooley's speedboat ready for launch in the pond. Sooley and I repaired some wiring in the dash and back of the boat, we installed new switches and fixed some broken connections before launching the boat later that afternoon.

4.   French and Bill arrived with French's 14' aluminum boat in tow so we all motored up the pond to do a little trouting from the boats, eventually catching a dandy meal.
