6. Winter 2014-2015 has been a banner year for snow on the West Coast of the island with a record 583cm measured so far in the Deer Lake Area and even more in Stephenville! However here on the Avalon we have seen more rain & freezing rain than snow. Thankfully today we finally got our second major storm of the year it was a good one! Over 30 cm fell and was driven by strong SE winds!

5. The snow bank by the front step was higher than Dad's Flex!

3. Thankfully my trusty Honda 9/28 was up to the challenge and had the driveway cleared in short order.

1. While on a work service call I stopped in to the Rod and Gun club to see how our contractor was making out clearing the road. Apparently the pickup couldn't push the drift beyond the gate so they brought in some heavy artillery! Now it's time to break out the Sled!!!
