Mark's Product Review:

Char-Broil X200 Portable Grill

February 21, 2022

Last year French went searching for a good quality portable propane BBQ to take on crew adventures. He wanted something sturdy and reliable and came across the Char-Broil Grill2go X200. It's a well built unit featuring sturdy handles, an aluminum firebox and an amplifier cooking system for even heat across its 200 square inches of grilling space.

After minor assembly and initial burn in the unit was ready to go. It's set up to run on 1lb disposable cylinders but French also picked up a 10lb refillable tank and an adaptor hose. This reduces operating cost and provides much better/consistent fuel flow to the grill.

We have used the grill on a number of outings including cooking moose sausages on the ice on the Cape Shore and BBQ-ing kick ass Prime Rib steaks on our Gander River salmon fishing trip in 2021. The unit works flawlessly and is easy to clean up.

French also picked up the optional travel case which not only protects the grill while travelling in truck or Argo but also keeps all the parts and accessories safely in place.

Cheers, Mark
